Brief description of the purpose of the privacy policy

This Privacy Policy covers how the chicken road site handles personal information. Any time you visit, submit a contact form, or interact with our content, some data might be collected - and you deserve to know what happens to it. We’re not in the business of harvesting personal details for profit. This policy is here to spell out the facts plainly.

Use of the information collected: to improve the site, optimize performance and analyze data

The information we gather gets used in specific, limited ways. When someone visits the chicken road game review pages, we collect standard technical data: IP address (anonymized where possible), browser type, operating system, referring URL, and pages visited. This goes into analytics - we use it to figure out what content is actually useful and what’s not landing.

Contact form submissions are a different matter. If you write to us, we store your name and email address long enough to respond. We don’t add you to marketing lists without explicit consent, and we don’t pass your details to third parties for promotional purposes.

Aggregate behavioral data - the kind that tells us “300 people read the game guide on Tuesday” - helps us make better editorial decisions. No individual is identifiable in that data. We might also use it to fix technical problems, like if a certain page is loading slowly for users on mobile.

Description of measures taken to protect personal data

We take data security seriously, even though this is a review and information site rather than a financial platform. Data transmitted between your browser and our servers is encrypted via SSL/TLS. We keep software and plugins updated to reduce vulnerability windows. Access to backend systems is restricted to authorized personnel only - and that list is short.

We don’t store payment information. Ever. There’s no checkout, no subscription, no stored card data. So that particular risk simply doesn’t exist here.

That said, no system is 100% bulletproof. We can’t guarantee absolute security against every conceivable threat, but we apply reasonable and current industry-standard protections as of 2026.

Use of cookies

Cookies are covered in detail in our Cookie Policy, but the short version: we use them for analytics and site functionality, not for ad targeting. You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings. Non-essential cookies require your consent before they’re dropped.

Users’ ability to view, modify or delete their personal information

You have rights. Specifically, you can request a copy of whatever personal data we hold on you, ask us to correct inaccurate information, or request deletion entirely. These are sometimes called Subject Access Requests, and they’re yours by right under applicable privacy law.

Send your request to contact@chickenroad-app-review.com with the subject line “Data Request.” We’ll verify your identity (just to make sure we’re handing data to the right person) and respond within 30 days. Usually it’s much quicker.

If you think we’ve handled your data incorrectly, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. We’d obviously prefer to sort it out directly first, but that option is always there.

Contact information

All privacy-related questions and requests go to contact@chickenroad-app-review.com. Please be as specific as you can in your message - it helps us respond accurately and quickly.

Effective date

This Privacy Policy is effective as of January 1, 2026. Any material changes will be reflected with an updated revision date at the top of this page.
